Vintage Garden

These lovely earrings have been made entirely by me in my home studio. The lampwork glass beads have been created with Italian glass, rolled in broken pieces of coloured glass (frit) and then shaped into a bicone shape. Then they have been annealed in a digital kiln for several hours in order to stabilise and strengthen the glass. From there they have been wire wrapped in copper findings and wire. The copper ear hooks have been coated with allergy shield in order to stop skin discolouration.

The earrings come to you gift boxed. Goods are shipped with an invoice enclosed. Please note however you are purchasing as a gift for another I am most happy to include a gift tag on your behalf at no charge and no invoice. Also if you would like to save a couple of dollars on shipping I can post without the box wrapped in tissue paper and padded bag. Just advise in the notes at the checkout your requests.

The actual glass measures 16mm across at widest point & is 16mm high. The length of the entire earring from top to bottom is 48mm.

Care instructions: Whilst each piece goes through an annealing process to strengthen the glass, do take care not to drop them. The piece is best cleaned by washing in warm soapy water gently.
