Starbright

“Star Light Star bright,
The first star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might,
Have the wish I wish tonight.”

This is a one of a kind, hand cut piece of dichroic glass that has been made in my home studio. The bail is wrapped out of vermeil wire (ie. 24k gold plated sterling silver). It has been annealed in my digital kiln for strength.

The actual glass measures 28mm across at widest point & is 29mm high.

Care instructions: Whilst each piece goes through an annealing process to strengthen the glass, do take care not to drop them. The gold plated bail is easily cleaned with a polishing cloth and recommended that you wipe over the metal after wear to stop tarnishing.

NB. Glass is notoriously difficult to photograph, most pieces appear more vibrant and full of life to what the camera can capture, whilst every effort is made to take a true photograph there may be minor differences.
