Peacock Dreams

The peacock is a possessor of some of the most admired human characteristics, and is a symbol of integrity and the beauty we can achieve when we endeavor to show our true colours. This was what I hoped to capture when I created this beautiful necklace.

The lampwork beads have been created in my home studio with American glass and then annealed to ensure that they are strengthened for many years of wear. Then they have been carefully strung on sterling silver wire with quality czech glass and sterling silver beads. Finished with a classy rectangular 925 clasp. Chunky yet surprisingly lightweight due to the focal lampwork beads being hollow, bound to be a talking point.

Measuring 19 1/2 inches in length (49.5cm) it can be extended if required. The largest of the focals measures 1 inch in diameter and 3/4 in height (25mm x 19mmm).

Care instructions: Whilst each piece goes through an annealing process to strengthen the glass, do take care not to drop them. It can be easily cleaned with a polishing cloth and recommended that you wipe over the metal after wear to stop tarnishing.
