Organic Green Set

This stunning lampwork necklace I like to think has a wonderful organic earthy feel to it. Simple in design yet powerful in statement. The glass beads have been carefully made in my home studio from different layers of Italian glass, then wrapped with fine silver wire which has then been melted into the bead for surface decoration. From there each bead has been placed in a digital kiln and annealed at a set temperature in order to stabilise the molecules in the glass to strengthen each bead for many years of wear. After this they have been placed into an etching solution to give a beautiful smooth matt look.

The five beads have been lovingly strung on a leather necklace with a 925 sterling silver clasp and spaced with six sterling silver round beads. Accompanying this beautiful set are a matching set of quaint earrings which are lightweight however very stunning on their sterling silver wires.

The necklace measures a total length of 40mm (16″) with the beads measuring 16mm (5/8″) in diameter. The earring beads measure 13mm (1/2″) in diameter and 40mm (1-1/2″) in total length.

Care instructions: To clean the necklace and beads please use warm soapy water and a toothbrush. Try and wear the jewellery as much as possible to reduce tarnishing and wipe over with a jewellery cleaning cloth if and discolouration occurs.
