Odysessy

This gorgeous one of a kind lampwork necklace has been entirely made by me. The lampwork beads have created in my home studio with Italian glass and then annealed to ensure that they are strengthened for many years of wear. The ribbed lampwork beads are made from a base of black glass and then coloured with blue glass which has a slightly metallic look to it. Then they have been strung sterling silver wire with sterling silver beads, black faceted onyx and dyed blue agate gemstones.

The largest lampwork beads measure 16mm in height and 12mm in diameter, the overall length of the necklace is 43.5cm (or 16 3/4 inches) with an extension chain of 65mm to give it more length.

Care instructions: Whilst each piece goes through an annealing process to strengthen the glass, do take care not to drop them. The piece is best cleaned with warm soapy water and a polishing cloth however commercial silver dips can be used.
