Kaylpso

This delightful piece is a myriad of colours. The lampwork beads have been made in my home studio with American silver glass. Silver glass is amazing to work with, with different torch flames a caramel coloured glass rod turns to shades of pink, purple, greens and blues which makes each bead completely different and very hard to replicate. All the lampwork beads have been annealed to ensure that they are strengthened for many years of wear. Then they have been carefully strung on sterling silver wire with quality faceted crystals, quartz gemstones and sterling silver beads. Finished with a classy parrot 925 sterling silver clasp. This set wouldn’t be complete without a bonus pair of funky earrings to go with it.

Measuring 19 1/2 inches in length (49.5cm) it can be extended if required. The largest of the focals measures 7/8 inch in length (22mm) and 1/2 in height (12mm). The bonus earrings measure a total length of 1 1/2 inches (40mm), one earring is slightly deeper in colour than the other, this is due to the nature of the glass. Care instructions: Whilst each piece goes through an annealing process to strengthen the glass, do take care not to drop them. It can be easily cleaned with a polishing cloth and recommended that you wipe over the metal after wear to stop tarnishing.

NB. Glass is notoriously difficult to photograph, most pieces appear more vibrant and full of life to what the camera can capture, whilst every effort is made to take a true photograph there may be minor differences.
