.[Mortification]. - 29 Years and counting. Tick tick tick... Boom! 12th May, which makes me a Taurus and a medical miracle who survives on coffee and stubborness.
.[Misconceptions]. - Not a complete fool... some parts are missing!
Since
August 2001 I made the break away from traditional
artwork into digital. From there I have been working "seriously"
with Photoshop 6 & 7, Poser 4 & 5, Painter 8 and Corel
Draw 10.
Under the title of Deviant Designs I produced
character packages for 3D Characters. If you're interested in
those please visit my stores, I'll happily sell you my family :)
In
April 2002 the 3D
Commune Magazine featured an article about myself
and artwork. |

My
work is neither light nor dark, just varying shades of grey, my inspiration
comes from what's in my head at that particular moment, so from fantasy,
to fetish, to sci-fi, horror or pinup, if it's out there I'll have a
bash at it. I do the occasional reproduction just to try to brush up
on my skill level.
As
of May 28th 2003 I obtained my certificate in Computer Graphic
Art.
Up
until the end of August 2003 I moderated the Poser & Poser
101 Forum at the 3D
Commune but resigned as things have just gotten too hectic.
Between 2003 and 2004 I obtained my Certificate III & IV in Business Administration, excelling at accounting and database creation while working for myself freelance.
As a result in a move in 2004 I fell into sales and the construction industry which I unknowingly ended up loving. Currently I am working as a Hilti Centre representative managing my own branch, playing with power tools and servicing from the individual customer up to Government and civil work.
Since 2006 I have been dabbling in the realms of jewellery making which has since resulted in "the stash" aka, a legitimate excuse to purchase and play with shiny things without looking like a bag lady. With the purchase of a kiln, I now make fused dichroic pendants and earrings, and the list of materials has gone from beads, to glass, to polymer clay and soon to be lampworking. My studio (aka living area) is a sea of glass, hand tools and my good old faithful dremel and evidence of a lack of social life.
In 2010 after two years of a attempting to put up an online store, Decadent Designs is now fully operational.
When I'm not working full time or dabbling in my art you can find me on www.beadingforum.com.au on etsy.com or doing markets with my lovely and talented friend Suze.
